Attendees will learn about the advantages, disadvantages, and challenges of migrating an existing enterprise environment to Server 2012. The course focuses on the configuration of core services, Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), networking services, local storage, and virtualization with Hyper-V.

Labs held during the duration of the course allow participants to configure Server 2012 in mixed environments (different client and server operating systems, as well as other network devices) in order to cultivate a deep understanding of Windows Server 2012 technologies.

Prerequisites: Basic understanding of networking with Microsoft Server operating systems and clients.
