Course Overview

 

During the five days, trainees will learn the different types of attacks which can be performed on Cisco network devices, and the technologies used to mitigate them. They will also study the varying Cisco hardware devices available for different network environments, and through the in-class labs, develop a comprehensive understanding of the configurations needed to pass the 642-637 exam.

Topics include Zone-Based Firewalls, NAT, IPS, VPNs, Layer 2 & Layer 3 security, and device optimization.

Prerequisites: Completion of the CCNA Routing and Switching and CCNA Security courses and/or certification. Experience working with Cisco devices is preferred.
