Day 2: Spanning-Tree Protocol
- Root and designated ports, STP states.
- Configuring and monitoring STP.
- Rapid Spanning-Tree Protocol (802.1w).
- Configuring and monitoring RPVST+.
- Multiple Spanning-Tree Protocol (802.1s).
- MST instances and configurations.
- Private VLANs, VACL and PACL.

Day 3: Multilayer Switching and Monitoring Switches
- SVI configurations, Inter-VLAN routing and CEF.

- Using Simple Network Management Protocol.
- Performance monitoring with IP Service Level Agreement (IP SLA).

- Port Security and Port-based authentication (802.1X).
- Best practices to secure your switches.
- Securing VLANs, Private VLANs.
- Mitigating attacks with DHCP Snooping, IP Source Guard, and DAI.
- Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA).
- Course review and exam practice.
