CCNA Courses in Bangkok to Quick Beach Getaways

October 12, 2014 | By | No Comments

One of the best parts about taking a CCNA or CCNP course in Bangkok is that it’s 1.5 hours away from the some of the most spectacular beaches on the planet.

If you have been reading the IT Track blog section, then you are probably aware of the many parks and shopping centers that cover the majority of Bangkok’s commercial sprawl. However, after a few days studying your CCNP Thailand with IT Track, you may feel like a change of scenery.  Take your pick of one of Thailand’s stunning beaches and be there in no time.

2 Hours Taxi Ride to Hua Hin

Hua Hin, a beautiful seaside town, has been a retreat for royals and Bangkok’s elite for almost a century. For a quiet and relaxing getaway, Hua Hin is about the most peaceful place in Thailand to get away from it all.

The town is located in the lower central region of Thailand, south of Bangkok. There are plenty of seafood restaurants and an array of hotels spread throughout the town with international and Thai dining options offered.

Travel: A taxi ride from Bangkok will cost around 2,000 baht ($60 USD).  You can also take the train from Hua Lamphong station for around 500 baht ($15 USD) round-trip.

3.5 Hour Taxi Ride to Koh Samet

Koh Samet is one of Thailand’s smaller tourist locations. This small island in the Southern region of Thailand boasts white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and a great selection of low to high-end accommodations dotted across the island. If you like diving, Samet is a Scuba divers paradise. Check out the amazing sea life, ship wrecks and caves in Thailand.

Travel: You can take a taxi to the port and take a ferry crossing over to Koh Samet, or we can arrange a bus and boat journey for around 1,500 baht ($45 USD) round-trip.

1 Hour by Plane Journey to Samui or Phuket

Two of the most popular island destinations in Thailand are Koh Samui and Phuket in the south of Thailand. Koh Samui is in the Gulf of Thailand and is the second largest island in Thailand.

Phuket, Thailand’s largest island, is located in the Andaman Sea.  It attracts beach lovers from around the world for its spectacular scenery.

Both locations have a range of attractions from markets, pearl dealers and shopping centers to shooting ranges, diving trips and a range of water sports to choose from. Also, the detox and spa industry is booming on both islands as the health conscious among us venture down to some of the most picturesque hotel locations in the country to treat their body and mind to a well-earned rest.

Travel: A round-trip plane journey booked in advanced will cost you around 5,000 baht ($150 USD) in the high season with cheaper prices available during the off-peak periods from March to September.

Perks of Training in Thailand

The primary purpose of our course is to get you prepared, qualified and through the exam stage; however, why not take advantage the many perks of Thailand while you’re here.  We have connections with taxi firms, airlines, hotels and tourist operations in several locations around the country. Therefore, when you train with IT Track you also have the chance to relax and enjoy yourself.
